What went wrong?
A jewellery brand that specialises in selling vintage bridal products approached us with a problem we are experts at solving. Despite having highly valuable range of affordable collection, their website was not performing well. It was suffering from low engagement, with the entire site not gaining more than 50 visits a month. On top of that, 90% of the visits was concenrated within a fixed set of pages, most of them with products that were not very profitable for the client. It needed to change. What we did?
We identified several low competitive keywords focusing on their core products. This was followed by writing long-form blogs with links to designated landing pages. Each blog was written by a subject matter expert – who had first-hand experience using jewelleries of nearly that stature. The blogs were optimized for seo and conversion. Which means proper structure, keyword placement, internal linkings and other must-dos were taken into consideration and each article was reviewed multiple times before publishing. The engagement lasted for four months, during when we produced 20 blogs every month.
What about the outcome?
The blogs started ranking favourably on Google and Bing in as few as 1 month and over the course of four months, 90% of the blogs pulled highly targeted organic traffic to the site. From a mere 50 fragmented traffic count to a whopping 500 plus qualified visitors, the site had a steller performance. In other words and to go by digits, it was nearly 900% increase in traffic in just 4 months. Notably, all the targeted landing pages received impressive visit, and the client saw three fold increase in new leads and sales.
